well it has happened slowley but my arm rest on my 85 500sel is ripping in a bunch of places is it just like a bag over the foam and what do i have to do to get it changed.

I had the same problem, I had a new piece of leather sewn on the top starting at the seam, almost like getting it recovered. I had to take it off, what a job, and then took it to a person who makes horse sadles. Being from Kentucky that was pretty easy, Good luck

I bought some leather seat covers for my SD that were really nice. The company also sold center arm rsets for around $80.00 I'll try and remember to get the name tomorrow and message you back
