W202 Self-Leveling Suspension ?
I have a 94 C220, does it come with Self-Leveling Suspension as standard ? How do I find out if in fact my car has it ?
I was browsing Fastlane and it lists Self-Leveling Suspension parts for my car. I had no idea... |
Get 5 really fat people to sit in the trunk.
If the ride height doesn't change, you have self-leveling suspension. ;) |

Now if they lost weight since I last saw them, anybody knows if the W202 came with self-leveling suspension ? |
Seriously, I don't believe w 202's came with self-leveling suspension
If you want to see for yourself, look under the rear of the car. If you see nothing other than springs & shocks, no self-leveling. ;) |
Look at your rear shocks thru the wheel well...if there is a line that looks like a brake line attached to it, then you have SLS, but I'm not sure W202s came with that option.
|
I have never heard of a W202 sedan having SLS. Especially not the C220.
With most MB lines, the SLS is reserved for either the top model in the line, or for the wagons. With the W201, only the 190E 2.3-16V came with it. None of the W210 E-Class sedans had it. In the W126's, it was optional on the 420SEL and standard on the 560SEL. IT would be a real long shot that your 94 C220 had it. |
USA W202 versions didn't come with self-leveling.

Thanks, that's what I always thought untill I saw the Accumulator Air Cell for self-leveling suspension listed for my car on Fastlane.
