Not to split hairs, but a 1993 300E and a 1992 300CE are both W124 chassis cars.

This thread is about miles on W140 cars.

My indy has a 94 or 95 W140 Sedan thats debadged that has something like 265k on it.

You are correct Suginami, my car is a 124 .... I was just thinking that the engine is the key item in miles on a car in a way ..... anyhow, that six cylinder in the 300CE is really a good one!

Just turned over 90k on my S420 and 43k on the S320

264,800 mi today on the '95 S500.

The 95 S320 I inherited has 137k miles on it and needs TLC. Dad passed away 3-ish years ago and the car's been sitting.

Drove it from VA to Denver and it ran like a top. Now? Not charging below 3k rpm and even then, its not charging much.

I'm gonna post a thread on 'WTHeck is wrong with my S320' in a few min.

Likely bad alternator or voltage regulator.

263,000 miles now. Would be more but I let some fuel leaks get the best of me and it sat idle for a year.
