Problem with Lower Ball Joint Removal (107)
 

The sleeve fit perfectly on the ring at the base of the ball joint. I put the “ram” on the threaded end and ran it with a ½” drive impact wrench. It knocked the bottom out of the ball joint. How do I remove the case? Am I totally screwed? Do I need to take it to a dealer?

I could use a hydraulic press we have at work to press it out but am worried about destroying the A arm. Any suggestions are welcome.

EDIT- I put it in a 40 ton press and used a socket as a ram and pushed it right out.
