The best deal going on exhaust parts is Timevalve. These are high quality systems at about one-third of MB prices. They are stainless steel.

How can stainless rust?

Nope, two separate pieces. Muffler up closer to the cat, resonator right behind the rear bumper..

Dan,

TimeValve uses highest-grade non-magnetic 304 stainless steel. It simply does not corrode, and is backed by a lifetime warranty.

I just replaced the muffler & resonator on my 300TE, and am very happy with the new parts. They even provided SS clamps, and buffed the tailpipe to look like chrome.

For about $100 more than stock, I'm very pleased.

I just spoke with David, the owner of Time Valve. He will do an entire exhaust system (engine pipes, one big catalytic converter, 2 mufflers and a resonator), from the exhaust manifolds to the rear bumper, for $940 complete with a hardware kit. Without the engine pipes but with the Cat. and all mufflers, is $740. Give them a call at 860.564.7077.
