Angry Svc Costs at local Stealership-MB of Miami / Autonation

I was at the dealer today to get a key made (that's another story
) and got these prices off their board for service

7500 mile svc $160 15000 $380 30000 $600
Trans $150
Brk flush $80
Oil chng $80

Oh and radiator flush at $75.

The 30K mile svc is that the same as the 90-92K? and which would be the 82K mile svc interval?

How does that compare with where you guys are getting stuff done? No, I don't plan on them touching my car for stuff I can do at home.

I just had a bunch of stuff done in Phoenix from a dealer who charges $100/hour.

The labor rates were as follows:

- Service transmission - 1 hour
- Flush brake fluid - 1 hour
- Service differential - .8 hour
- Replace engine mounts - 1.8 hours
- Replace fuel injectors and O2 sensor - 3 hours

Parts cost was about 40% higher than FastLane.

The labor rates and prices for parts are insane but they did a really good job. In fact they did such a good job that they probably lost a sale on a new car. My 300E runs better than ever.

Any Mercedes with the FSS system is supposed to use synthetic oil. 8 quarts of Mobil 1 can cost close to $40. Does the Indy supply synthetic oil and an OEM filter for that price?

I am not going to use synthetic if I am pouring it out at 3K mile intervals, unless directed by Mercedes or I might be wrong. In general (again not mb) as long as u change every 3K mile I don't think it matters much, but that would be another thread.. LOL

Looking at my bill they used 7 qts of valvoline 15-40 and charged 8.25 for the filter but don't indicate which filter.
