Duty Cycle slowly creeps to 92.3% and...
sitcks there.
I assuming it means 95%, since there is no code assigned for 90% for my model year. Decel cutoff switch = microswitch? It register 69.3% (70%) KOEO. Symptons are intermittent: Complete loss of power, and no response to gas pedal. Upon acceleration it bogs down. Very rough idle. It goes away by itself. My diagnostics procedure: I waited until the problem appeared and connected the meter, it slowly went to 92.3% and stuck there. Idle crappy. Disconnected pot and idle went high, duty cycle oscillating around 45-55%. Connected it back. Disconnected ICV, same situation as above. Connected it back. Disconnecting ICV or Potentiometer gave me no codes with engine idling??? I expected at least a code when I disconnected the pot. Checked the Microswitch, and it is fine. Pot checks fine also. EHA current at idle hovering around 0mA (-0.2 to 0.2) ICV current at idle 635 mA Took the car out for a spin, it runs fine on I-40 at 80 MPH, all of a sudden problems occur -absolutely no power or response to pressing gas pedal- release the pedal and let it roll until about 40 MPH, press the gas and it takes off WTF??? When there is no response it feels like a rev limiter of sorts kicks in, because the car will not rev up. It downshifts sometimes but the revs barely move. I am at a complete loss - specially since it is an intermittent problem, it makes it harder to locate. Now YOUR suggestions, .....PLEASE
