Will 1995 500e Headlights Fit a 1989 300ce?
 

I am thinking about a HELLA 500e headlight upgrade. Can I fit 1995 headlights or will I have to use the 1993 headlights? I am asking this, because if the 1995 headlights fit, than I will be looking to replace the hood for a 1995 down the road. One mod at a time ;)

Yes, I have them on my 88 300CE. I changed the hood at the same time.

Do you think that the 1995 headlights would look alright with a 1989 hood? I believe that part of the headlight would be covered because of the angle of the grill. I just want to change the headlights right now. Hood will have to come later. By the way, do have any pics?

Never tried it with the old hood, but I think you will be able too see the tapered corners. It probably wouldn't look too bad just awkward.
I'm currently visiting my brother and I don't have any pictures with me, but the car looks like any 94-95 E320 Coupe.
