A.C. clutch questions.
 

Hello,

The wife's 190e AC clutch is dragging, making noise from the clutch not fully disengaging, while its cycling. Once the system is turned off, it generally stay quiet.

I probably need to reset the gap, but I cant find anything in the factory CD or the Haynes manual concerning this.

Could someone point me in the right direction? How can you tell if the clutch is done/toast? Is there a wear lim it on the linings? Where to purchase a replacement clutch and what is the cost?

O.K., I went out and measured the clutch gap and it appears to be just below the minimum spec (0.4mm). Shouldn't the gap increase as wear occurs?? Guess I'll need to find some shims to regap it.
