1996 E300D antennae not extending.
 

I need help, my 1996 E300D atennae does not extended. The owner manual say to turn on the cell phone in order for the atennae to work. I have no cell phone hook up to the car. Anyone know what need to be done? It's never been used.subant@yahoo.com

The antenna in the quarter panel is only for the cell phone!

The radio antenna is in the top section of the rear windshield! There is a splitter/amplifier for the windshield antenna under the left "C-pillar" cover near the left rear seat belt upper mounting.

Thank you so much for your help. I will take a look at it on my day off from work. I thought that it's the same as my 190E.
