Vacuum Level for idling V12?
Does anyone know what the vacuum level is for a properly running V12? I suspect I have some small vacuum leaks somewhere.

Any decent engine should have about 18 - 20 " vacuum @ idle.
If you have a very small leak, a vacuum gauge will probably be of no help. You may want to " aim & shoot " some carbcleaner at the suspected locations. ;) |
Thanks Manny. I forgot about this old method. Will the carb cleaner cause any problems with any intake components?
