My remote was working fine until I loaned my car to a friend. Needless to say that I got the car back without the infrared remote working. I don't know what happened to the remote. The locking system on the car is fine with the key. Can anyone help me determine if I need a new key? Or how to reprogram the key with the car?

Have you change the battery, I believe the 92 remote has two.

Also, there are some fuses in the rear that power up that system.
