420SEL won't start

The car is an '87 and has 180,000 miles. I can hear the fuel pump run when the key is turned to the run position. I put a spark plug in one of the wires and grounded it, the car has spark. I then removed the line that goes into the fuel distributor, it looks like one of the injectors lines, but I think it goes into the top. Anyways, when my dad cranked, fuel shot everywhere. I took a line off of one of the injectors, and fuel just barely dripped out while the car was being cranked over. It was maye 1 drop every 2 seconds of cranking? Sorry for the unscientific terms, etc. Please let me know what you think could be the problem.
Thanks
David

My brother moved it to wash it, which it started fine then; then after washing it wouldn't start. I finally got it started after putting a bunch of carb cleaner in the intake, it was idling fine, but when I tried to give it gas it stalled and won't start now. This all happened before my initial post. Should the injectors pressurized while cranking? Should they get more than a drop every second or two?
Thanks
David

The line that I said I took off earlier is actually the cold-start injector line. That would mean the distributor is at least getting fuel since it is spitting it out at the cold-start injector. Should all the other lines be under similar pressure? If they are suppose to be, they aren't. They just barely drip fuel out while the car is being cranked. Could a fuel distributor just fail suddenly?
Thanks
David
