R129 SL Rollbar Warning Light
 

I removed the rollbar from my 96 SL320 to replace the vinyl cover. During the course of re-install, I had to operate the soft top and rollbar actuators several times to get the four bolts re-installed. Now the rollbar dash light is lit and the rollbar convenience switch flashes whent he rollbar is lowered (but goes out when in the up position). All components work - soft top goes up/down, rollbar up/down, windows work OK. Is this a matter of clearing the fault code 144 from the OBDII?

Probably (hopefully) you simply have to have the code cleared.
