I read that most of these pumps need to be reseal and mine has been leaking for a while. Can a DIY reseal it? If so, how intensive is it and where can I get the parts to do the job?

Thanks,
Vincent

Haven't resealed a pump myself in years, but I would say that it is straight forward after getting the pulley off.

I would get the parts at your dealer, they aren't expensive. I always use factory seals as they are constantly improving the materials.

There are some precausions when doing this for the first time. The pump will have to come off and apart. Taking it off is not easy, but we do it often. You will have to take out the stator and veins to get the front seal out. IF you do this, you must put them back in the same direction to avoid damage. Mark everything as you take it apart. If you don't, well.... Just mark it.

Good luck
