The manual says to set preload of 2mm. 2 mm = 0.0787402". Am I reading it wrong? This seems like too much play. Even 1mm (0.0393701") seems like a lot. 39 thousandths is a lot, isn’t it? Does anyone know for sure?

I have dial indicators that read to .001 and .0005"and figure I should do it by the book for the first time. I have a neighbor who is a factory trained MB mechanic for 20 years and he does it by feel. Maybe one day I could too.

(0.0003937 - 0.0007874)

I swear the manual says 2 mm. I even printed the page and it says approx. 2mm. I knew it couldn't be correct
