Post torque setting: 190E 2.3---water pump

What TORQUE SETTING should be used in tightening the 7-8 bolts that attach the water pump of a 190E 2.3, model year 1991? The bolts are approx. 4mm dia. & threaded near the bottoms.

Assuming this is the M102 4 cylinder gasoline engine, the value given in the Haynes workshop manual is 10Nm, or 8 lbf ft. That's firmish hand tight.
