How do you check to see what code is coming up on check engine light. Also the car is surging since the plugs have been replaced. The check engine light was on before the plugs were replaced. Any ideas or solutions on how to get the ecu into diagnostics?

A scan tool is required. Either MB or OBD2 will bring out check engine info.
