Question EPC CDS having trouble with XP

Does anyone have experience with the epc cd's on windows xp?

I am having trouble but would really like to use them.

Anyone?????

Apparently, some of the older EPC's that are sold on the "gray market" require a software driver to be installed in the operating system before the software will run. Check the documentation.

I was able to install it and get it to run on XP when I changed the "Compatibility" settings to make the software think it was running on Windows 2000.

Sorry I don't have more details than that, I don't have the instructions any more. Maybe this clue will help someone else who is an XP guru point you in the right direction.
