W210 E430 Sway Bar Install
I have purchased an H & R front and rear sway bar kit for my 2000 E430. They are supposed to replace the stock bars. I am looking for someone who knows what they are doing to install. My dealer says the front should take 1.3 hours and the rear .3 hours. However, they say IF the rear carrier needs to be removed, it would be an additional 5.6 hours.
Two questions: Aren't these sway bars a direct swap for the stock ones-why would the rear carrier need to be removed? Also, is it correct to assume that a 4-wheel alignment is NOT necessary? Somebody help me out here with any info. you can provide. THANKS!
