Climate Control - Strip Fuse
 

I've read many posts that suggest, if you're having a problem with your climate control, among the places to check is a strip fuse which is located in a small black box in the engine compartment. Does anyone know whereabout in the engine compartment of a 1995 SL 600 this small box is located?

I can't tell you where it is on your chassis, but I can tell you what to look for. You are looking for a rectangular box about an inch and a half long and 3/4" wide with a heavy wire coming into it on both ends.

Check right above the fuse box just underneath the windshield. You should see a box that you can flip the top on and it should have 3 strip fuses in it.
