I have a 1984 Euro 300D with a 5-speed manual transmission. I recently had a problem with my central locking system failing. I bought a vacuum tester and tracked the problem down to a rubber y-connector in the pillar by the front passenger door. This is a Y with two different diameter tubing connections. One line is incoming. The other goes out to the door lock and the smaller diameter line goes to adjust the mirror in the door. I can not find this part at IMPCO or any MBUSA retailer.
Can anyone out there suggest a source for this part that never seems to have been standard on US models?? Thanks ------------------ Jeff Biesenberger '84 Euro 300D 261k miles
