hazard switch and turn signals
I just took the hazard switch out of my 1983 300D to find out what was wrong with it. The plastics bits inside had snapped so I threw it away and am looking for a new one. Since then however, the turn signals haven't worked. Is the turn signal circuit broken without the hazard switch? Or am I confusing two problems with one? All the fuses are ok and the turn signals worked right before I did this. Any thoughts?
Also, where can I get those old style fuses? Thanks, Nick |
Normally the signals go thru the hazard switch.

My mom's 79 240D had problems with her turn signals. I changed the hazard switch and everthing was fine. I belive the relay is located on the hazard switch in these cars.
Good luck. |
