Problem Solved 94' E320

I was having a problem with my friends car. The car would crank over, but would not start. I installed a fuel pressure gage and noticed that it did not move from 0 when the ignition was turned on. I jumpered the fuel pump relay and the pressure went up to 60 psi. I took the relay apart and it looked fine. I checked for the control voltage at relay and there was none. I then checked for spark at the coils and there was none. I then took the ovp relay apart and noticed alot of corrosion inside the bottom of the relay. I cleaned the two sets of points and all contacts inside of ovp. I plugged in the ovp and then turned on ignition and all of the sudden the fuel gage moved to 60psi. I then had a feeling it would start and it did. I am going to purchase a new ovp just in case. I just wanted to say thanks to all an this forum for all the good information. I also read a few post that said they would not respond to post about ovp. I just wanted to say that the ovp is a very important part of the electrical system and it should be discussed more. No one has actually said how to diagnose an ovp problem and how to bypass it for testing.
Question about spark plugs? I pulled the center cover to test for spark and noticed there was only 3 spark plugs there. Is this correct, or did I miss something? I also tried to pull codes and could not get nothing. I pressed the button for 3 seconds and it would light up when I was pressing it, but when I let go it would just go out. What gives?
I hope this might acually help someone elso with the same problem.
Thanks JohnT

The 104 HFM car is a waste spark system two plugs for each coil. The coil sits on top of one plug and has a plug wire to the other.

PS: the OVP is probably the number one topic on this forum. Thousands of threads on it tens of thousands of replies.
