Bofors...40mm...
Light them up! Having been on many a vintage warship the quad 40mm "boffors" are still impressive. You needed brass balls to shoot down planes back than. It wasn't like the point and click world of today. You had to stand on a very exposed deck and aim at that SOB trying to kill you. I remember cranking them around on the battleship MA at the museum...with 20mm Jap rounds bouncing off the deck around you doing that took some serious guts.

And it must have taken brass balls to know that each ship you where attacking had at least 4 of the things trained on you at any given time...not to mention the ones from other ships in the formation. I heard somewhere that Japanese pilots would sometimes fly wave height in the hopes that the gunners would accidentally start shooting other ships in the formation.
What tiny patrol boat is that thing mounted on? You should always have a hull big enough for a couple of the 40mm's and at least one of these...

Little Guns
I'll never get over the effectiveness of these...It's like they're ALIVE!
BUT they're gonna replace the Bofors on this with 30mm gatlings:
