This is one of the things I enjoy with my car - I LOVE the way it handles and rides. However, I know all this stuff needs to be replaced. I love seeing how replacing one thing makes it feel so much better. Every time I work on it, it runs or rides better than before. I can't wait until I do the subframe mounts (which I've had sitting in the box for way too long now), engine mounts, and other misc. rubber bits that'll make it feel even better! Not to mention the timing chain, the rebuilt heads I have to put in, and the valve clearances to redo... then I'm afraid it'll handle and run so well that I'll rocket to the moon! :D

Snapped subframe mount bolt....
 

I mistakenly snapped the subframe mount bolt... does anyone have suggestions on how to remove the broken bolt from the subframe without removing the entire structure?

Not likely to be an easy job but if you can remove the rubber parts of the old mount so that all you have left is the broken screw you might be OK. Heat the broken screw and try to turn it out with vice grips or a similar tool.

That's fairly large part you broke. How did that happen?

Thanks..I was replacing the struts and on the drivers side, mistakenly tried to loosen the bolt thinking that was the top mount. When I tried to loosen it, it just snapped.
