More pictures are up

Excuse the frequency of these postings, but I have added another set of pictures under phase 7 with the doors back on the car in preperation for the repaint.

More pictures will be up shortly. I am not sure of how to accuratly get the pictures of the vacuum line, so please send me a private message with more details on the pictures that you want.

For now, see http://www.alabbasi.net and go to cars/450sel 6.9/phase 7

For any who are interested, I stopped by the shop and it looks like they have painted the car. The base coat is and the top coat will go on tomorow.

I am probably going to a couple of more pictures, once after the clear coat and the other when the final assembly is up.

see http://www.alabbasi.net cars/450sel 6.9/phase 8

If the interior of the car is still out, you may want to consider swapping the type one ACC for the manual setup.

I the controls all work well right now (but the a/c blows warm) I really dont want to mess with this one . Running out of time and money, I want to drive this car to South Carolina in the next couple of weeks for the m-100 meet.

Looking REALLY good! Amazing what you've done to this car. You should tell us how much it cost, so that some of us with cars in similar shape can know what to expect

Similar cars

Anyone with a similar car should think long and hard about saving it. It would be cheaper to find a good one. That said, if I bought one that was good, I wouldnt be getting emails from off the wall places such as Poland and Malaysia asking for progress updates on the car

Careful now, now some of those people from Malaysia will want to send you a check to buy your car.

Thanks

I am so impressed. You said you have Euro bumpers- do you know where I can find some? I hope my restoration goes halfway as well as yours. How much was that paint job? Geez!

Wow, it's a neat feeling to see those fenders (wings) again that I sold you from my parts car; they will live on!....

Where is the M-100 meet in SC??
