This really ticks me off - I went to a lot of trouble to help JPP figure out his warm-up compensator problems.

On a more positiive note, there are three Holley 4360's for sale on ebay at present. Get one of those and a new-style base gasket, fiddle with the linkage, fuel line, and vacuum a bit and you're in business.

South Africa has a LOT of scammers! They even try scamming people on MySpace! (They tried to scam my friend who had an apartment for rent)

I'm in Queensland,I have had a running battle with the Plice here since 2000 when some low lifes stole the contents of a property I owned.The Police refused to investigate because the theives were related to a Police inspector....So I understand entirely how the Police here in OZ operate,one law for their Mates,and another law for the rest of us.
BUT,because JPP is in South Africa and I know some Mercedes Enthusiasts there...I got this address for you.Send off an email and make a Formal complaint.Fraud is Fraud and S.A's laws are similar to ours.Jpp is probably some pimple faced kid who steals money and thinks he's a smartarse because you can't reach him.
Go for it mate! you have 300 reasons to kick him up the jacksy!.
