Engine/Cylinder Head cross referencing
 

I have a '72 250, Chassis 114.011 with the M130 engine, dual Zeniths. I am wondering if a 108.920 engine (from a 65-69 250S) would fit? The 108 engine has everything attached - dual Zeniths, distributor, etc - can I drop it in?

Also, if I just wanted to use the cylinder head - #108 016 05 01 - would that fit on my 130 engine?

Head gasket's different so no, heads aren't interchangeable. As for the drop-in, it should be easy enough. But the 108 probably has less power...
