Rare Sightings?
Hi all, I'm a new member here. I have a 1965 220 Sb which used to be a French car:
![]() But on the roads of America I never see any of these oldtimers? I live in the S.F. Bay Area and I've seen like only three so far!! Today though I just saw a cream W108 drive past. |

Is that the color referred to as "mercedes blue" at the amazing fintail website http://www.heckflosse.nl/ Arguably an MB color combo classic that rivals black on red. Get it california registered and drive it daily says me.

Saw a 600
I saw a 600 in Carmel a few weeks ago. Looked like a daily driver from the appearance of the people in it. Sounded real nice when it took off from the traffic signal.

Saw a rusty 280SLC with a manual transmission, brown with tan reupholstered seats, in front of a tavern in Alton IL recently. Euro lamps and bumpers, manual A/C controls.
