Three Interesting 250C's on eBay

This one will make you cry.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mercedes-Benz-200-Series-250C-RARE-MERCEDES-BENZ-250C-UPGRADED-TO-327-CHEVY-ENGINE_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6329QQihZ009QQitemZ190080901360QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

But this looks like it could be a a good one.

And just for comic relief, a parts car for $2500.

What the HELL did they do to the steering wheel? It looks like ass, for sure. And the exhaust headers look messed up. If you plan on doing a conversion like that, do it tastefully. I don't see how one could say that it's more reliable now, though.

What a plie of junk. I agree with tomguy the steering wheel looks like it came from a chevy and they glued on a star.

I bet they got drunk and decided to do the convert to chevy. Then got a great deal on some monster truck headers on ebay with out reading the post and went to install them only to find out they are pipe up. The obvious solution was to punch a hole in the fender and route the pipe out. Nasty

That 327 - I like the upside down exhaust pipes running across the rocker covers and then leading into the wheel wells.

In the top one, I love the stacked headlights, it gives it a 108 look. Thats about the only thing I like. I HATE IT when they say adding a chevy adds performance and reliability, that really grinds my gears!!!!

Are those 108 front fenders on a 250c on the first listing? If not it might have been quite a bit of work.

that's a caddy tilt steering wheel for a bit of extra class. Those lights do indeed look good. Note that he went to the trouble of making a specialized trunk badge. -CTH

If you look at the top row of pics, 3rd to the right you can kinda see where he grafted on the 108 fender, only about 4" of it. I sure like the look, but it seems like A LOT of work.

It looks like he also grafted some hvac registers on the hood, for cooling those "pipes" down. What a heap of crap
