250s 1967 valve specs
 

this is what i need..thanks. I wish i could get the valve clearance specs for my 250s 1967. i thought i seen them on here but i cant find them

A good idea to retorque the head on any early In-line 6 OH Cam Benz engine BEFORE adjusting the valves.
..and the trick is to lossen first, then tighten, ONE AT A TIME, in sequence, with the Radiator or coolant cap OFF.
Valve lash on your chassis is Int/.03- Ex/.07 ..

The valves are adjusted on a cold engine. You need a special tool available on the Buy Tools section on this web site, 6th one down, ST3545-14, http://www.peachparts.com/diy/mb_tools/mb_tools.php?page=11

While it says M180, it will work on yours too.
