Question reverse light switch

Hi,
I'm new to the forum and yes offcourse I'm full off questions
My 1968 200 is running perfectly but has only one problem at the moment.
When I reverse the car the reverse lights don't come on.
I've checked the bulbs, they are fine get a good ground connection too.
So I think the prob is in the reverse switch.
Can anyone tell me where it is located ?
The car has a columnshift(steershift).
Any help apreciated.

If it's a 1968 column shift manual transmission car, the reverse lamp switch is on the top of the transmission. Early cars had it mounted on the bottom of the shifter "bearing assembly". It's the piece at the end of the steering column where the shifter rods go to the transmission. The early versions were harder to replace .
Regards,
Randy D.
