1970 W114 Electrical Connector Sources

I need OEM electrical connectors for my wire harness restoration. I know where to get the wire but not the connectors without buying a whole USED harness which would put me in the same place. Haven't found a place yet in the US yet.

Anyone know where i could find them here or in Europe? MB Classic hasn't been helpful..

Thanks!

If you are looking for the phenolic connectors then good luck. Sometimes seen used on ebay for $. A lot of the plastic ones and all of the metal inside connectors are avail from MB. The outside black tubing is also available in several sizes.

You need to look up the part numbers of what you want and then search from there.

Sometimes posting photos here of what you want will turn up someone with a stash.

Sorry for the late reply but work has been brutal lately and we are trying to see the house in a pandemic...you can imagine...

Anyways..didn't know there were phenolic in there so...crap...

I don't have a part number book so i'm up a creek on that. i'll see if i find it though. Where do you find a Part Number Book? I've seen people mention this before but always wondered how they find the P/N's they are looking for. There is fuse block that runs the power windows and i went to Mercedes to get a replacement and guess what? The stinking thing didn't work! I must've spent a better part of 6 months (off & on) trying to figure it out. My friend came by and we were talking about it and he asked if I still had my old on and i did luckily. We replaced it and the windows worked fine. The point is i think if i had the right P/N i may have gotten the correct one and saved time. I actually still need one as the top on it is gone.

I don't understand... what is wrong with used harnesses? Condition depends on location... arid climates inhibit corrosion issues. Why not clean up old connectors and use those?

They're brittle and breaking. So if I'm trying to restore to rolling off the factory floor, i need the connectors. Repairing them (glue, epoxy, etc.) not working as they break somewhere else and those are mine let alone someone else's. Again if you can find and afford them.
