Well, it's still two and a half times cheaper than this other one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270613469878&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

I should have held on to mine, I sold it a couple of years ago for $5400 right after I re-did the interior. It ran like a scalded ape.

Wow. Maybe now is the time to put Quicksilver on eBay as a whole and save up $$ for a nicer one!

Man, you guys sure are dogging that guy! I mean, c'mon, with the exception of the paint, rust, accident damage, missing chrome, trashed interior, dry rotted tires, electrical problems, wood de-lamination and a couple of minor little things, that car is pristine!

I've been watching auctions for 280 SE(L) 4.5's on ebay ever since I bought mine, and this one caught my eye recently:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250664594919&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT

I can't believe it went for $14,300.

There was an auction for this car before this, and bidding ended at $9,350, but it didn't meet the reserve.

Clean, low-mileage cars like that one generally sell for $10-$11K.

Deadbeat bidders and a seller who must think all Mercedes cars are worth a fortune. Both bidders have zero feedback and are new members within the last 30 days, so good luck getting paid.
