I believe there were tons of cars built with one of those installed. I cannot believe it is tough to find a new one.

Sure, for $565! Holy cow. At least shipping is free
 I might. Heavy emphasis on might. And it'd be at least a week before I could check anywhere to see. I used to pick stuff up all the time when I went to the yard on dollar part day, but I stuck most of it in the trunk of my 4.5 when I sold it some 10 years ago
