Who has had thier interior wood professionally re-done?
I really want to have all the burl wood trim in my 79 280CE re-done, the lacquer is chipped on the center console and its faded out from the FL sun. Findind new pieces is next to impossible.
I have heard of Heritage woodworks, anyone use them before? Any other company's that would do a good restoration? Thanks

Use Heritage. I've been to their shop, at which time they were doing wood sets out of a couple 600's. I also owned a car for which they redid the wood 10 years previously and it still looked good.
Best Regards, David

Or Do-It-Yourself
I did my shift console a few years ago; unprofessionally of course - by myself.
Stripper with 0000 steel wool, never sand paper. Minwax stain followed by muliple coats of clear coat. Note a couple of smudges are photo things and not the finish.
