parts compatibility part II

Does anyone know if the steering damper is the same on 114 280ce's and 123 280's. I have got a 114 280ce which has a very bent steering damper (?) and have got a 123 280ce which I'm going to strip.

I think they are one size fits all. Double check using FastLane's on-line parts catalogue for various chassis numbers and compare the part number for the damper.

good thinking, you're absolutely right. There so cheap anyway, I'm going to buy a new one.
