Not everybodys cup of tea 1975 240d

I picked up a 75 240d from my buddy it was his dd for a year and he got another car. So I got it from him the car is lowered just a little and is static. The interor is still in decent shape and the motor has seen better days.
This is car like 4 or 5 years ago

Love the interior. Why the hell do people lower these things?

To each their own, I think it looks like a job well done :)

Can we see some under body - see what you did to get it that low shots?

Pass......it was nice with the red interior and dark grey exterior...suppose it won't be long before the oil pan gets ripped off...

When my buddy drove it as his dd for a year it only busted like 2 or 3 times and then its been driven from tn to fl which turned into 15 hour trip and the pan got busted 5 times

No bumpers?
Since the pan has been damaged so much, are you going to restore the proper height with regular springs?
It was a gorgeous car in the first photo!

Good lord. Has this killed any motors? That momentary loss of oil pressure in a diesel while you pull the car over and shut it off can destroy your engine.

Is there any point in lowering this type of car? Might want to invest in a skid-plate!
In the '70s, the kids used to jack their rides way up. Today, zero ground-clearance is the hot thing. Hopefully, this too will pass.

Happy Motoring, Mark

Well if oil pans soon become NLA.....now you know where they all went....

And here I love my car because I can take speed humps and not slow down.....I be fearful I would get stuck on one....still sad to see how nice it was and its current look....isn't this what they consider ass backwards?

Where that duck tape Benz? Would look perfect with this....
