About those seat back locks.

The dome light switch in the door jam is part of the vacuum circuit. Open a door to unlock both seat backs.

For more info, see the files starting 91- at Pogoplug: Mercedes (my pogoplug drive)

3 guesses as to the origin of my user name!

Not sure if I missed it... did you need spacers for the CLK wheels? What is the offset / ET for those?

On the W114 The CLK 7x16 ET37 wheels just barley rub on the front control arm, a 5mm spacer would fix that, no rubbing at all in the back. I am running bigger spacers cause I like the look, I have no rubbing. The big advantage with these wheels (if you want 16") is that they only weigh 13lbs, overall with 16" 205 wide tire and wheel I dropped 9 Lbs per corner VS the stock set up and you can really feel the difference.

Those CLK 16's really almost elongate the car. Plus the lower roof on the 250 coup accentuates the effect. It's as if someone grabbed the car at both ends and stretched it out.

Such a little thing...but I get it...makes the whole design pop (and 9 lbs lighter/corner). Nice.

I think the elongated look is mostly from lowering the car. Yes you would be amazed at how much better the car is lowered a bit, lighter wheels, shorter side walls and new tires.

Thx
