Idle - I messed mine up by filing the points. Do you reset the gap? If so, what is the spec? I have to get out and use a screwdriver to breech the points to make it go down now when I turn the engine off. Maddening.

Hey optimusprime, thaks for all the info. Since I don't have an original Hirschman, it's not worth repairing. I rather pay the $40 and get a new one
