W115 REAR SPRING SHIMS

Hi, we need to replace the rear spring shims, but we are not sure about correct part number. There are 3 options: 1153252244, 1153252344 and 1153252444. And the chassis number of our car is 11501710022493. Each of the options has different thickness, like 14mm, 19mm.. Could you please help us with the correct shim part number?

Thanks in advance..

If you want the official data you need to find the part number of the spring that is fitted and then look up the specifications for your vehicle in chapter 32-220 in the W114/5 FSM

I don't have access to that book so I don't think I can help.

If you have the book then you're already half way there.

(Most people just buy a few shims and try them to see what it is like of course)

I've got the book, if you can provide the part number. There may be colored dots on the springs that have meaning as well.
