i can only find crap URO motor mounts!! HELP w108 280se 4.5

does anyone know where to get quality motor mounts for my 72 280se 4.5. everywhere i look i can only find URO brand.

If the dealership has them i'm sure i'm going to fork out some dough. So i'm hoping someone out here knows of a source for good quality motor mounts.

Cheers

That P/N comes up on PeachParts here, Genuine MB special order for $136.00. That being said, the mount does not come up on a general search for the 108 4.5, so if the dealer comes back with that part number you should be good.

Thank you all for your help. Much appreciated. I'll call the dealer and confirm. fingers crossed.

I found it via a Mercedes "expert" in Holland who is usually reliable. But it did seem strange to me that it was labeled as for all V8s - which is why I said to use with caution...

Well, to be fair, that'd be accurate; the 3.5, 4.5 and 6.3 all used the same mounts. So if the P/N is right, it would be right for all.

i'm hoping that changing the engine mounts and sub-frame mounts will fix my freeway noise issue. at freeway speed there is a substantial drone. its not vibrating harshly. but the noise is making its way in the cabin and is a bit loud.

So i gave my vin number to the benz dealership and they came back with these part numbers for engine mounts that will fit my car

1112200017 engine mount- $450!!!!! he said that his computer only calls for 1 engine mount according to his diagram. ????? wtf? does that mean the other side uses a trans mount? obviously not. also,. damn i cant find this part number anywhere online thats not uro. :(

1162400418 trans mount
