W108 floor shift vs column

Can anyone tell me what percentage of w108s 4.5s were floor shift vs column shift transmissions? I know floor shifts are more coveted. Any input?

Hello and welcome to the forum! I wasn't able to find any stats on the W108 shifter, but I would pose this question in the general Vintage Mercedes forum; you'll likely get a lot more eyes on it there.

Green 10794:

All the W108/109 4.5s (which were exclusively US market only) came with the new torque converter 3 speed automatic. Unlike the previous w108/109s, which had the torus 4/speed and with a choice of floor or column shifter, I think the cars with the newer transmission only came in floor shift. Am I wrong?
