1965 220seb tune up specs M127 w111
Hi, I have a Mercedes disk that no longer works on machines newer than Windows Vista. When I look online all I can find is Ponton 220s specs and I am not sure they would be the same for my 1965. And I am just getting a range of numbers.
I am having trouble finding what my dwell angle should be for my newer fintail. It seems to run well at 28 or 30 degrees, but that is .016" feeler gauge. That is wider than I am used to on my carbureted fintails. This is fuel injected. Also any opinion on what timing should be at 5000 feet in Colorado? I read advance 1 degree for each 1000 feet. ? I'll take spark plug gap too. I put NKG BP6ES in. They come out of the box at .025, but was told they should be .018. Also, on the volt meter my coil was around 8 volts at idle and then went up to 10 with more rpms. I just expected that it would be at 12 volts. Is that normal? It has the ballast resistor. I have been trying to track down a loss of power issue. Points, condenser, plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, all replaced. Originally when I started the points seemed completely closed. Don't know how it ran that way. Thank you Eddie
