hood star is different than my w123,from what I can see there is a hook that attaches to star,then a spring over that and then a cylinder that when compressed allows lower portion of hook to be secured and tip put in hole on bottom of cylinder.is this correct?and if so how do I compress spring from underneath hood enough to get hook to seat?
