W110/W111/W108 DIY Headliner
Anyone ever done a headliner in one of these cars?
I know they're held in place with metal bows, but I was wondering how difficult a job this is for the DIY'er? Dan |

I've had three done in the last few years. Two were sunroof cars, and all three were done by experienced installers. If it doesn't have a sunroof you could try it, but even pros have trouble with them. Especially the headliners from MB, because there is usually a pucker at the intersection of the headliner and the sail panel. The other major issue is that the headliner needs to wrap around the windshield openings and be glued. The windshields need to be out to do it right, but it's a good time to replace the seals.

I'll have to post the pics on Fintail.org from when I did one.
