1978 W116 V8

1978 W116 with V8 mostly complete underhood. Is it worth picking, like intake, exhaust manifolds, throttle assembly, fuel pump Bosch 0 438 120 062, and other parts?

Are you picking parts to sell? If so maybe see what's offered already on Ebay, etc to see if it's worth it.

Only if it's a 6.9 and you can grab good condition parts for the hydro suspension. Otherwise not worth it.

The Aux Air Valve, which is at the front of the engine and on the left side as you look into the engine from the front, is worth something if it is working. Many of them are not.

Check the a/c controller which is on the firewall on the passenger side. If this is not cracked in the square part of the body, or if the square body has already been replaced with a metal one, it is worth picking. The aux water pump, which is next to this controller, is worth about $50. If it is working.

On the aux water pump, at the top, is a small plastic cap which is usually white but sometimes black, which can be pulled off and two drops of light oil dropped on. If it is still working this will make it work better.

The best bet? Yeah, check Ebay, look at the sold items, and see what people are actually getting for them.
