List of Vintage MB Models By Year? - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

Is anybody aware of a resource that lists the various classic MB models by year (say up to the mid ‘70s)? I’ve seen the Wikipedia list but it appears incomplete? Thanks in advance.

I have a massive coffee table book entitled Mercedes Benz, IIRC. It has a pretty thorough listing and illustrations of each model.

the wikipedia pages for the W107, W114, W115, W116 and W123 cars are pretty complete. What precisely are you looking for?

Ideally something relatively comprehensive. It’s a tall order and I’ve failed to find it. i’ve been trying to educate myself about some of the classic models and have found resources spotty about MY OE details like options, engines, colors, transmissions, etc. I haven’t found a one stop buyer’s guide that includes all of the basics a buyer would want in one place. Mercedes’ classic site is awesome and has lots of good info about what to look out for when buying different years and models, and Wikipedia is very helpful, but it’s kind of a pain to switch between multiple sites to get a comprehensive overview. I looked at a ‘70 280 SL that sold at the end of last year, and it opened my eyes to the fact that I know very little about many of the other models. What I’m looking for may not exist, but I appreciate any input.
