W113 Pagoda - Tow Hitch
Hello Folks,
New to this forum today in search of some W113 Pagoda history... I have finally aquired a correct Oris towbar for my beloved SL but have no references for fitting (I know that four small weld-on brackets were needed) Does anybody have a scan of some instructions or installation drawings? Does anybody know anything about the weld-on brackets? Drawings? Sizes? Fixings? I'm pretty much flying blind here so any help at all is hugely appreciated... With thanks in advance Mike |

Have you tried contacting the manufacturer?

Many thanks folks,
Sadly already familiar with those threads and pictures, and contacted Oris/Bosal a while ago - they didn't want to know... I remember several years ago a Dutch guy posted up an account somewhere of his Pagoda restoration at home. A hugely competent job, even building his own body rotisserie! In it he detailed the fitting of his tow hitch, with details of fabricating the mounting brackets. That was before I found a tow hitch and I can't find his post again... :-( I have subsequently trawled up fragments of the einbauanleitung for the Pagoda tow hitch where that exploded view seems to be from, but it doesn't have page 2 of 5 - I've attached it here in case it jogs anyone's memory, or even if they have a copy! ;-) I can get the brackets fabricated, but it would be nice to have them just like the original, and it would sooo nice to have page 2 of that installation instruction... With thanks and best wishes Mike |

I just found the pages for everything that isn't a pagoda.
Basically 31-2/1 to 31-2/7. oh, and it's in German. I'll shoot you a couple of scans later in the week. -CTH |
